Kjersti Graver

Kjersti Graver (8 October 1945 – 14 February 2009) was a Norwegian jurist.

She was born in Oslo. She served as the Norwegian Consumer Ombudsman from 1987 to 1995, having previously worked as a sub-director from 1979 to 1984.[1] During this period she was behind a prohibition of the skateboard in Norway.[2] In 1995 she was appointed as a presiding judge (lagdommer) in the Borgarting Court of Appeal.[1] She was also a board member of Amnesty International Norway and a member of the Norwegian Parliamentary Intelligence Oversight Committee.[3]

She was married to Lars Oftedal Broch, grandson of Lars Oftedal.[1] They resided at Jar.

She died February 14 2009.[3]
